The tennis legend, who has 11 Grand Slam titles in his career and has won the calendar Grand Slam twice (once in the Open Era), believes that Djokovic’s loss to Sinner will be a valuable lesson. “Novak is an incredible champion. He constantly feeds his mental strength and motivation. It is precisely because of this reason and the success he has achieved in his career that he is expected to win every match.

In my opinion, Novak will learn something from this defeat. He will recover and come back stronger and more motivated,” said Laver.
