Today, a club from Saudi Arabia announced that Ivan Rakitić has joined them. Rakitić, who is 35 years old, had a contract with Sevilla until the end of the season. The financial details of the transfer were not disclosed.
Former Croatian international Rakitić played 27 games and scored two goals for Sevilla this season. In addition to Sevilla, he has played for Barcelona, Schalke, and Basel. He represented the Croatian national team from 2007 to 2019, participating in 106 matches and scoring 15 goals.
Al Shabab, the Saudi Arabian club, finished the first part of the season in the Professional League of Saudi Arabia on an undisclosed position.
