The showdown between Briton Tyson Fury and Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk has been canceled due to an injury Fury sustained during training. This was supposed to be the fight to determine the undisputed heavyweight world champion for the first time since 1999.
Fury currently holds the WBC belt, while Usyk holds the WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO versions. The spectacle was scheduled for February 17 in Saudi Arabia but was postponed due to a significant cut above the eye that Fury suffered.
